i need to drive my car from west palm beach fl to jacksonville fl. my parents live in west palm and my cars there, i moved to jax for school and i’m selling my car here. it doesn’t have insurance or registration b/c i haven’t driven it in a while, but i don’t wanna pay for it just to drive it here, can you drive a car like this somehow temporarily to sell it?
No. You cannot legally move it one inch without it being registered or insured. Check with your DMV for a temp. “move” solution and to an insurance agent for an insurance solution.
If you get caught driving without insurance you will require Florida SR22 Insurance in the future and it will cost you much more.
